Baden Brown

Baden has been competing in triathlons since the age of 7, after following in the footsteps of his dad Byron.  Baden’s first triathlon was the Nashville Kids Triathlon in 2011, and he fell in love with the sport; it didn’t hurt that he came in first place! He followed that with winning his age group at the HEAT triathlon, and several others that same summer; he has been training and competing since then!  Baden is a Type 1 diabetic, which can make competing and training a challenge, but he is very resilient and continues to push himself to be better.  In 2017, he was accepted to be on the team Multi Sport Explosion, which is a nationally competitive triathlon team based in Atlanta, Georgia.  The team is currently ranked second in the nation for youth elite and junior elite racing.  For the past 2 years, Baden has qualified to compete at the USAT Youth Elite National Championships Triathlon in West Chester, Ohio with only 75 athletes qualifying each season in youth elite male (13-15 years old). Over the past eight years, Baden has put in countless days and hours of training to be able to compete at the highest level for a youth triathlete.
