April 2018 – Steve Dickens

SteveI’m a Financial Analyst for Ford Motor Company. 2 kids- (Katie 16 and Christian 9). Married to Tory. Live in Hendersonville. Type I Diabetic (for 33 years)… This will be my 3rd year doing triathlon. After finishing up a great year last year with IM Chattanooga 70.3 in May and IM Louisville 140.6 in October I decided that I would get back to running more this year which allows me to spend more time with family and friends. I have enjoyed the HEAT group runs this year and the opportunity they have provided me to be able to run with a few new faces. While race day often reminds us that triathlon is an individual sport, it’s the time training with others that are the best and most memorable.
