Workout Schedules


We have a Master’s Swim Class on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 5:05am at the Sumner County YMCA.

We will begin hosting open water swims (OWS) in the cove on Wednesday and Friday mornings when the water warms up.


Too cold or rainy to ride outside?  HEAT members lead the following spin classes at the Sumner County YMCA.  If you are new to spin, arrive a few minutes early and they will be happy to help you set up your bike.

Candy Owens – Mondays 9:30-10:45am (It’s a brick workout); Fridays 9:30-10:15am.

Charlene Alcorn – Mondays 4:30-5:15pm & 5:30-6:15pm; Thursdays 8:45-9:15am and 9:30-10:15am.

Oliver Barry – Tuesdays and Thursdays – 5:10-5:55am & 6:00-6:45am

We will host group rides on the weekends.  You can check our Facebook page and TeamApp for more information.


Come join Oliver Barry & Company’s group run every Wednesday morning at 5:00am from the Sumner County YMCA in Hendersonville.  All levels and paces are welcome for this 3 mile run, rain or shine.

You can also join HEAT members that are part of the Hendersonville Running Club for their group runs –

Saturday Morning Group Run – 6am or 7am at the start of the Drakes Creek Trail Head (in the park behind Demos). All paces and distances welcome.

6@6 Sunday Morning Recovery Run – Meet at Starbucks Indian Lake Blvd in Hendersonville at 6am for 6 miles at an easy pace with coffee and chitchat afterward.

Brixx Run Mondays – Meet at Brixx in the Streets of Indian Lake at 6pm for a 5-6 mile tempo run through the Hendersonville Greenway and into Drakes Creek Park.  Join in the fun after the run with pizza & beer.

Speed Work Wednesday – 6pm at Hendersonville High School track for speed work intervals.

RunSum Wednesday – Meet at 7pm at Fleet Feet in the Streets of Indian Lake for a 5K run followed by snacks and fellowship.  At times, there will be different vendors showcasing their products to try out.  All paces are welcome & lights are a must!
